What will a day charter around St. Martin look like?

Your day will start at 8:30AM at the Matco Marina dock on the Dutch side. The captain will provide a short safety briefing about the rules to be respected during navigation as well as instructions about the safety equipment, he will also point out  the weather situation to evaluate and improve your day. After boarding, he'll show where to store your personal belongings in the compartments provided.

Then we'll sail for about 40 minutes through the lagoon of Simpson bay, follow the leeward side of the French coast of Saint Martin to reach the fascinating island of Tintamarre, protected by the French Marine Reserve. Once arrived in front of the main beach, you will enjoy swimming among numerous sea turtles in the turquoise water, and then set foot onto the sandy beach for a relaxing moment.

Next stop is the famous Pinel island. You'll discover a sublime island with a tongue of sand protected from the waves, little bottom ideal for children, also fitted with two bars: Karibuni and Yellow Beach.

We'll sail for another 20mn ride to the charming long beach bordering the village of fishermen now known for its French gastronomy: Grand Case. You could thus have lunch at the restaurant "Le Temps des Cerises".

At 1:30PM, we'll sail out to 25mn of gentle ride to "Terres Basses", passing along the beautiful beaches of "Baie Rouge", "Baie aux Prunes" to finally arrive under the cliffs of "Baie Longue" for a bath. We'll sail back to the Dutch side and will reach "Mullet Bay" before heading to the incredible "Maho Beach" and watch the planes landing over the boat to land on the runway of the International Juliana Airport which starts where the beach stops. According to the schedules of the planes, we'll get back to the marina around 5:30PM.

We'll start from the same location of Matco Marina on the Dutch side.

After being given the same instructions as for our charter around St. Martin, we'll sail for an approximate hour at sea (depending on the weather) to arrive at the sublime deserted beach of "Colombier".  Visible from our boat, the numerous sea turtles will invite you for a swimming break in this relaxing spot.

We'll head over to the beach of "St. Jean" within 10 minutes, to reach the foot of the airport runway where you can also find the famous "Eden Rock" resort and "Nikki Beach" restaurant. Eating at the "Nikki Beach" restaurant is highly recommended ;)

After lunchtime, we'll ride to the port of Gustavia to admire the billionaires mega yachts, the captain will ask to guess the owners of these vessels. We'll stop for another break at "Shell Beach" with the opportunity of lunch at the "Shelona" restaurant before heading back to St. Martin to arrive at the marina for 5:30PM.

After checking in at Matco Marina, your captain will head over to the British little gem within 30 minutes of cruising.

The unique Shoal Beach will be your first stop and will most probably leave you speechless. Turquoise  and warm water only! Enjoy your first drink onboard and plunge into this huge and natural swimming (ocean) pool.
