Every flight takes off from our boat Wendy, right in the heart of the bay, with a certified crew taking care of everything from the beach to the sky.

How it works

Step 1 - Check in

Head to our spot on Orient Beach and check in with the team. We confirm your reservation or book you in on the spot based on availability.

Step 2 - Jet ski to the boat

You hop on a jet ski and ride out to our parasailing boat Wendy, anchored in the bay. It takes just a few minutes and it is already part of the fun.

Step 3 - Gear up on board

Once on the boat, our certified crew fits you into the harness, hooks you to the parachute bar, and walks you through everything. No experience needed, they handle it all.

Step 4 - Take off

You lift off directly from the boat's parasail platform, no running, no jumping. The ascent is slow and smooth. Within seconds you are 164 feet above the bay with one of the best views in the Caribbean under your feet.

Step 5 - Land back on the boat

After 12 to 15 minutes in the air, the crew reels you back in and you land softly on the boat. The jet ski brings you back to the beach. Want a dip? Just ask the captain to lower you toward the water during your flight.

Step 6 - Repeat the experience

What You Will See

From 164 feet above Orient Bay, the view opens up in every direction. Here is what you can expect to see on a clear day:

  • The full stretch of Orient Beach, two kilometers of white sand from above
  • Green Cay, the small islet at the edge of the bay with its turquoise flat water
  • Pinel Island, one of Saint Martin's most popular spots
  • Tintamarre Island in the distance
  • The neighboring islands of St. Barth and Anguilla on the horizon
  • Marine life below: sea turtles, rays, and fish visible through the crystal-clear water

Getting to Orient Bay

The Bikini Watersport is located directly on Orient Beach, on the French side of Saint Martin, near the Bikini Restaurant


  • From Philipsburg (Sint Maarten): approximately 25 minutes by taxi. A shared cab from the cruise ship terminal typically runs around $20 USD for up to 4 passengers.
  • From Marigot: approximately 20 minutes by car.
  • From Grand Case: approximately 10 minutes by car.


Orient Beach is well-signposted from the main road. Look for Bikini Watersport on the beach once you arrive.

  • Is Bikini Watersport the only parasailing operator in Saint Martin?

    Yes. Bikini Watersport is the only operator offering parasailing on the island, on both the French Saint Martin and Dutch Sint Maarten sides. Orient Bay is the ideal location for it: wide, protected, and inside the marine reserve.

  • Do I need experience to go parasailing?

    No experience is needed. Our certified crew handles everything from the harness to the takeoff. All you have to do is enjoy the ride.

  • How long is the parasailing flight?

    The flight itself lasts 12 to 15 minutes in the air. Add the jet ski ride to and from the boat and plan for about 30 to 45 minutes total for the full experience.

  • Can I go parasailing with my child?

    Yes. Solo flights are available from 10 years old. Children under 10 can fly on a tandem flight with an adult from the age of 2.

  • Will I get wet during the parasailing flight?

    Only if you want to. The captain can lower your parachute so your feet touch the water during the flight. Just ask. Otherwise you will stay completely dry.

  • Can I fly solo or do I need a partner?

    Both options are available. Solo flights are 60€ per person. Tandem flights are 120€ for two people. Flight time is the same either way.

  • How far is Orient Bay from the Philipsburg cruise terminal?

    Orient Bay is approximately 25 minutes by taxi from the Philipsburg cruise ship terminal in Sint Maarten. 

  • What is included in the parasailing flight?

    Your flight includes the jet ski ride to and from the boat, the harness and safety gear, a full briefing from the crew, and 12 to 15 minutes in the air. Nothing extra to pay on the beach.
